The situation is constantly changing and we are following developments closely. We are aware that the pandemic is a source of worry for a number of reasons for our guests and we are of course taking this into consideration when planning and booking tours but we are confident that guests can still come and enjoy The UK in an enjoyable and safe way.

For guests with tours booked up until the 1st October we are offering a free postponement of their tour with no additional charges. We recognise that travel to the UK is currently difficult, especially from countries outside Europe. For those who are able to and wish to enjoy their booked tour, we have some information in place that will be provided about some of the changes and measures that are in place to maximise safety and respect the current social distancing recommendations.

We have been certified under the Visit Britain “We’re Good to Go” programme which is given to companies following the industry recommended guidelines on Covid-19. Please click here to read about some of the temporary measures in place on our tours as well as some recommendations.

We will contact customers at 6 weeks to notify them of the situation and see what they would like to do, we will not be asking for balance payments to be made at 6 weeks before seeing how customers would like to proceed.

Using FCO guidelines as well as looking at other factors we will review the situation 14 days before the commencement of your tour. In the event where we are unable to operate your tour on certain dates because of restrictions and closures relating to COVID-19 we will notify you about the situation on those dates and offer to do the following:

1.  Postpone the tour to a specified or non-specified travel date later this year or any date before June 2022 with no charges.

2.  Cancel your trip and receive a credit for any deposits made or balances paid which can be used against any future trip booked with us

If you cancel between 42 and 28 days before the commencement of the tour the following options apply:

1.  Postpone the tour to a specified or non-specified travel date later this year or any date before June 2022 with no charges.

2.  Cancel your trip and be refunded any money paid minus the deposit amount.

If you cancel between 28 & 14 days before the commencement of the tour the following options apply:

1.  Postpone the tour to a specified or non-specified travel date later this year or any date before June 2022 with no charges.

2.  Cancel your trip but cancellation charges of up to 50% of the balance amount may apply.

In a situation where you decide not to proceed with your tour due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and it is at a date that is further than 6 weeks away, similarly if you were to cancel and there were no UK restrictions in place that prevent the tour from operating then you would have the following options:

1.       Postpone the tour to a specified or non-specified travel date later this year or any date before June 2022 with no charges.

2.      Cancel the tour. Our normal Cancellation policy would apply.

In a situation where you are unable to get to your tour start point due to flight cancellations or border closures preventing you from leaving your home country you should firstly approach your travel insurance company. Most policies that were taken out before the pandemic became established should be honouring claims for cancellation in these circumstances. We would be happy to provide supporting information where required. Otherwise In this situation we can:

1.       Postpone the tour to a specified or non-specified travel date later this year or any date before June 2022 with no charges.

2.       Cancel the tour. Our normal Cancellation policy would apply.
