Scotland: Shortbreaks

Walk Difficulty Fair

Break For The Borders

Spend your days on some of Scotlands finest ridges, admiring magnificent hilltop views; then in the evenings, enjoy the comfort and stylish cooking at Amar and Elena's family run 4 star Hotel.

Everything is taken care of. We provide maps and detailed written guides to the best walks and in the mornings you will be taken to the start of your walk. When you get back to the Hotel in the evening, you can relax and enjoy Amar's cooking - dinner bed and breakfast, and a packed lunch included in the price.

Based at Innerleithen, you are only 45 minutes by car from Edinburgh (just over an hour by public tranport); or, if arriving at Edinburgh airport or railway station, we can arrange a transfer direct to the Hotel.

Day 1:
Arrive Innerleithen

Day 2:
Yair to Traquair (19.2 kms/12 miles)
