Walking Holidays from around the United Kingdom and Ireland

Short Walking Breaks in Wales

Our walking holidays in Wales will show you just how beautiful this magnificent country is.  With Over 750 miles of coastline surrounding its diverse terrain it has a number of beaches to explorer.  Wales is only 170 miles from north to south and 60 miles from east to west.

In Wales you are never far from the sea and it’s no wonder it’s an extremely popular tourist destination for cyclists, walkers, surfers and sailors.

Visitors from the sea include Dolphins, basking sharks, Atlantic gray seals and leatherback turtles.  Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion are seen as an area of international importance for bottle nosed dolphins.

The Gower Peninsula was the first area in the whole of the UK to be designated as an "Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, in 1956".
